The Return of Schiaparelli?

WWD is reporting that talks with Roland Mouret to become chief designer of Schiaparelli fell through, but Diego Della Valle (Tod's) isn't giving up on his niche couture brand. The Italian mogul is casting his net once again, and one of the biggest fish in it, industry sources say, is Giles Deacon. The two already know each other — and have talked about the Schiaparelli position in the past. It would make sense, considering Deacon's latest, exquisite collection, which was packed with couture-like silhouettes, reengineered for the 21st century.

Of course there was no comment from anyone regarding the story but this is exciting news. I am a big fan of Schiaparelli and own a few vintage pieces of jewelry, hats, and one snazzy sweater that I hope isn't full of moth holes!
