Photo: Tony Cenicola/The New York TimesRobert Rauschenberg is one of my most favorite American artists. He died today at age 82. I worked in an office where there was art everywhere and it wasn't uncommon to be sitting beside or below a Rauschenberg or a Warhol at any given time. I never met him but I always enjoyed his work and that of his peers.

I was so sad when I heard this news. But luckily we are able to enjoy his work and remember him!
