Kidston's Birthday Bash

What's a birthday party without candy floss, popcorn, crisps in bowls and Kylie being played on the banjo? Last night the queen of vintage chic, Cath Kidston, celebrated 15 years of style with a village fĂȘte of a party in London's Portman Square Gardens.

Surrounded by burger vans, tombolas and buckets filled with blooms, fashionistas swapped tips on how to look after dill while guests - decked out in their Chanel bags and Converse trainers - sat back, relaxed and enjoyed a glass of wine, tucked into fish and chips and took a trip down Kidston's memory lane. Pieces from 15 years of the designer's cult classics filled the marquee space with a pink rose print scrunchie from 1993, a super-cute hot water bottle cover and, in bold chintz prints, the most welcoming of weekend bags all on display.

My friend told me that CK designed the carrier bags at Tesco! I'll be stopping by Tesco when I am there next week, even if i have to just by a box of crackers to get one!
