T.G.F.F. (Thank God For Flats)

Yes, it's that time again and since I am gainfully employed at a job where flip flops are forbidden, shoes are even more important now! I have to tell you that my Tory Burch flats left my feet blistered and in serious pain after my first day of work on Monday. Don't get me wrong, I love them and it's not their fault, but I am not happy about that at all since I am now recovering with new band-aids being applied 2x a day. By the way, those TB Audrey Flats are now on sale at Tory Burch for $95.00! Thank God for those Penny Loves Kenny flats I bought back in the spring that I wore today because my feet were crying for help.

I just bought these from Steve Madden for 30% off + free shipping...today only if you are reading this on Thursday!

I also bought these 2 pairs at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but the bottom ones are on backorder until the end of September so I am thinking about getting a pair from Dolce Vita that are on sale for a great price at Intuition (see photo at the very bottom of page).

Stay tuned for my full Fall flats post next week. I am definitely purchasing those Lilly pumps. I need to dress up for work now - this week I was coasting on some pretty inventive outfits to get me through :-)

That's a bummer about the TB flats!! I love those quilted ones - very, very cute!! A new job always deserves a few new shoes, right??

I am in love with ballet flats but they take some serious work to break in! I have been suspicious that the disc on the Tori Burch flats would be a problem.

I too thought the disc would be an issues but it's not at all. Believe it or not, even the back of the shoes rubbing wasn't an issue it was my toes that were rubbing on the inside that was a killer. I also usually put powder in my shoes but the clear sides of the TB flats doesn't really allow for that even though they have 3 air holes on the sides - it's funny/annoying because even with the air holes they "fog up" on the sides.

Hope you are not feeling the burn quite so much.
