Much like the great debate over whether preppy is "back" - I keep reading that red lipstick is the new trend. Did I miss the memo? Red lipstick, while not everyone's taste, is a classic much like a little black dress and pearls. It's annoying to keep seeing that some things that have never been "out" are back "in." The above is the new "it" lipstick - Red Lizard by Nars. I usually only wear Chanel lipsticks but I use quite a bit of Nars Cosmetics so I think I am going to try this one out. I also read that MAC sells more tubes of Russian Red than any other color lipsticks.

Love the red lips - I have two faves in my drawer - both are Clinique - Hot Date & Cranberry Cocktail. I love the red lip for evening :) it never goes "out" (in my opinion of course!)

I think I still have my Chanel "Red Red". I wonder if they still make that color. IMO it's the perfect red lipstick. "Tempting Red" was my other favorite red lipstick from Chanel. It was a red that was very wearable for every day.
I think red lips are always sexy.
I love red lips. They have never been out, so I guess that they can't be in.
