It's That Time Again...

You know what time I am talking about. That time when you go into any store and hiding amongst the Halloween candy (that has been out since right after 4th of July) are the Christmas decorations! Ack! I just went on a website and smack in the middle of the opening page was a "reminder" that there are 77 Days til Christmas and I should "shop now" - no!!!!!!!!! It's bad enough we have no change of seasons anymore but we must shop for Christmas all year round! And let's not forget the Christmas music that will start playing November 1st forcing me not to enter any sort of shopping establishment. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmastime but not starting in July. Christmas should be the day after Thanksgiving to Christmas, period. The end. Anyone else with me?

I'm totally with you!
I can start getting into it by mid-November, but not prior. And I'm in overdrive the day after Thanksgiving. Not out in the actual store with all the masses, but definitely online.

I agree with you. I hated seeing the first rows of decorations in August. Can't the stores wait until November?

I am with you! After working in a mall for so many years it really got to me, the fast forward of everything not just Christmas, the seasons. Wearing fall clothes in July because I had to. I really try to enjoy what is going on right now, like I can't wait for Halloween!

I am just happy we are going on vacation this year instead of Christmas presents. Beach and cocktails is so much better.

I am totally with you! My Christmas thinking doesn't begin until at least November. Before then is just too early!!!
