Seems like the same idea behind the sweater shaver which serves the purpose. How do you deal with those pesky pills on sweaters? I have one of those sweater shavers (not the electric kind) that you buy at the craft store for like $5.00 - actually I have 2 and one is from Benetton (somewhere) so that should tell you how old it is!

I am a knitter and this would come in so handy. Thanks.
Let me know if you like this, I need one for my J.Crew sweaters. As much as I love them, they pill like crazy.
I'm getting one of those! Thanks.
i use a pumice stone (like the one to use on your feet). basically the same thing.
I have a battery-operated sweater shaver...I love it. And I agree with mrs. p--most of my sweaters are J.Crew, and they're the reason I finally broke down and bought one.
I really want to know if it works, because I could really use it.
I will need to give this a try. I just got one of those battery operated sweater shavers and it took 2 AA batteries to do one sweater before it ran out of juice. Hopefully this will take less energy!
