I am needy these days. And now I need some fun games like board games for the holidays. It cuts down on the tension, you know? So pretty please help me out and tell me what are some good group games - anything but Pictionary!
After watching Gossip Girl last night, I think you should add Guitar Hero to your list. Hubby said that one of our neighbors has it and it's lots of fun.
Oooh, you KNOW we are game people in our house! I did a whole post on games last year... here's the link: http://monogrammomma.blogspot.com/2007/02/getting-in-game.html
You have GOT to get LCR. It's a great "traveling" game that is tons of fun and easily turned into a drinking game too!

Lately we have been loving Blokus at our house. Fun for ages 5 to 99. Really makes you think...try it!
Drinking is always a good group activity. :)
Guess who, but replace face cards with pictures of your friends!
I had fun playing apples to apples at a party a few weeks ago.
Some of my faves are Scene It, Balderdash and believe it or not, Yahtzee!
Oh yeah, and Scattergories is fun too.
Of course drinking is #1 L., I meant in addition to that!
I second Scattergories; also - Encore (if you get a singing group) and we play A LOT of cards
It can't be anything too difficult to figure out. I always like UNO :-)
Catch pharase is great for a group.
Apples to Apples is great for bigger groups... especially once drinking has commenced. I'm a sucker for good ol' $25,000 Pyramid.
Another DVD game that is fun is Price is Right. We got this a few weeks ago and combined with the drinking it is a lot of fun! I second Scene It!

Scattergories is my favorite! And I really enjoy card games, especially spades. And of course there's always Chutes and Ladders :) !
parcheesi. my mother and my niece have a running game. you can play with up to 4 people.
I need like a 5 or 6 people game...the search continues. We did get the Apples game and Are you smarter than a 5th grader.
