I need a calendar for my desk (not a date book or planner but a small calendar) and I can't find one that I like. Last year I got a preppy one from Jenny B. which was great. It was the perfect size, but this year the format changed and it's for display only meaning you can't write on it. I need to be able to write on my calendar! I've noticed a lot of these CD case or display type calendars and while they are pretty, they aren't useful, to me at least. I don't want a wall calendar because that's too big but I want something smallish and cute - Any ideas? Remember all the times I have helped you out!
This is what I was referring to above - I am sure it's charming although I can't see the inside (the concept is cute) but it's for display only - not practical. Here's another one, again, cute but no dice.

I'm not much help, but just had to thank you for helping me! I went to The Container Store and they had houndstooth wrapping paper AND damask. You really are good!!!
ps...I finally jumped on the blogging bandwagon :)
I can't help you on the calendar thing-but I did check out your pink tree..So cute with the Lilly decorations. Maybe my girls will get some of those ornaments someday. For now it's Barbies and candy canes!

Hello! I am not sure if you have heard of the design blog - decor8?
Holly Becker wrote two posts re: 2008 calendars, with lots of desk calendars and links to purchase. Search "calendar roundup"
http://www.decor8.blogspot.com/ Hope this helps
Thanks! I checked Decor 8 (which I used to read all the time and for some reason stopped) and there weren't any that I could write on but I found one I had to have from Green Chair Press that will look lovely on my desk!
hmmm... I am always searching for one too. Cute ones are hard to find so I typically end up w/ your run of the mill boring one from the office supply store. Have you checked out seejanework.com? I haven't been there in a while but they might have something.
If you haven't gotten one already, you might check barnes and noble. The one near me had a bunch. None were as cute as Prep by Month though!
