Oscar Hangover

Wow there were a lot of great dresses this year and red was definitely the hot color! I loved all the red going on so these were two of my favorites. Nothing really bowled me over with excitement though. There were a lot of huge long clutch bags (icky). I am not going to bore you with my whole loved it/hated it list because I think they were pretty obvious but here are a few standouts in the hate category:

I can't tell you enough how much a loathe Renee Zellwegger - she always has that sour lemon face and I just don't like her. Ellen Page looked positively schlumpy. Yuck! I didn't care for Diablo Cody's frock either. Can you tell I am the only person in the world that didn't care to see Juno? I am surprised it won anything. And Calista Flockhart looked ridiculous - when Miley Cyrus is dressing better that you are that's your cue to stay home (and leave your earring wearing geratric boyfriend home as well). Jennifer Garner - didn't care for her dress either - one celeb. blog said she looked like a pony! Cameron Diaz looked very washed out and needed a necklace or something. Blah. Thank God Andre Leon Talley didn't dress J. Hudson this year! That's all for now.

I love love love that Marion Cotillard won and so did Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova's for Best Original Song, "Falling Slowly" from Once - yay!

To much red. I did not care for it.

Just not a red fan personally.

I read that this morning too. I thought it just kind of looked all the same.

I would like to know how many Zoe dressed.

Don't forget Tilda Swinton. Her dress was a disaster.

OMG totally - what the hell was that? I don't know who the designer was but he/she should be shot.

Tilda's dress was described by the NYTimes as "House of Hefty," LOL.

And before I forget, add Rebecca Miller (Mrs. Daniel Day Lewis) to the list of "What were they thinking?" The red bows did nothing and her B&W striped shoes did even less.

I think those two dresses are getting the "what were they thinking???" awards!

Tilda Swinton the dress was Yuck.
I liked Jennifer Garner but her hair style wasn't up to par.

They kept going on and on about how wonderful Jennifer Garner's dress was. It looked like she had an ace bandage wrapped around her bust.

Her dress and Renee's...nothing special if you ask me!
