Dorian Leigh died on Monday in Falls Church, VA - read the obituary in the NY Times here. Avedon is one of my favorite photographers and this photo of Dorian Leigh is one of my favorite iconic photos of his. It appeared in his last book "The Woman in the Mirror."

Sad to hear about this...but this photo brightened my afternoon. She is one of a kind.
Beautiful photos! One of my best girlfriends is named Dorian too.
