Nanette Lepore Ad Campaign

An image from Nanette Lepore's autumn/winter 2008-9 ad campaign (This is my kind of dress!!!)

Nanette Lepore is making the leap into advertising for autumn/winter 2008-9, in a whimsical creative collaboration with British creative Poppy de Villeneuve as photographer and art director .

The sumptuous printed silks and fluid ruffled dresses of Lepore's new-season collection - doubtlessly also soon to be spotted on A-list fans Eva Longoria, America Ferrara, Heidi Klum and Mischa Barton - were shot by de Villeneuve in a Victorian house in Long Island City where, she explains, she tried to create "a sense of a woman in her own space".

Lepore is thrilled with results, which will debut in print media, on billboards and online within the next couple of months.

"Advertising is so exciting because it allows me to present the image of my brand as I see it," she explains. "After meeting Poppy and then seeing her work in Nylon, I knew she was the perfect person to create the dreamy, romantic feeling I wanted to project." {via VOGUE.com}
