I haven't been a big fan of Lilly Pulitzer lately for various reasons. However, I love Brooke Shields and had the opportunity to preview the Colorful Cause Collection this winter. I really loved the cover-up bearing her name (pictured above left) but didn't love the price. I found it by chance earlier this week at Saks and bought in on sale. It arrived yesterday and it's so cute! I also purchased a bathing suit that is supposed to be reversible but really isn't - I guess the top could be reversed but definitely NOT the bottom (mine came with the green side out and the edges are navy - not as they appear in the picture below - the green side has navy edges and it sort of looks stupid) so I think I will be returning that - it's too bad because it's very cute and I love the navy side, oh well!

Bummer about the bikini! I've had my eye on it but I think I'd want to wear the green side, which obviously wouldn't work.
I'm with you on Lilly lately - I suspect for many of the same reasons - but that bikini is too cute; bummer it didn't work.
Have you seen their fall '09 line? Looks very promising; I like it much more than some of their recent seasons.
I like Lilly but for many reasons I don't have much in my wardrobe. Many because it isn't cheap. I like the liveliness of it. There are somethings that I think are wrong but to each his own.
I'm really diasppointed in their customer service as well as the quality. Before I return the bikini I am going to take a picture so you can see what I'm talking about - I reached out to Lilly for an explanation and didn't get one. Very frustrating!
That is too bad about the bikini. I was kind of skeptical about the reversibility; sorry it didn't work out!
It would have been fine if the bathing suit I had received came as pictured - sadly it was not - it came green side out so there was no way to "reverse" it to the navy & white side. Major bummer!
