I bought this compact because I am a sucker for packaging and this was just too beautiful to pass up. I've had it for about a month and I admit, I have no idea what to do with it! I don't wear a ton of makeup and there are no "directions" as to how one should apply this "sheen." My paternal grandfather was a marketing executive for Estee herself and I grew up looking at all the pretty compacts so to admit I am at a loss here is big stuff!

Hmmmm, not sure. I'm not one for wanting sheen on my face. Does it have sparkly stuff in it? Perhaps you could brush it on your chest/collar bone area if going out and wearing a halter. ??? I know that sounds weird, but I've seen people do that.
I have a couple of the NARS Multiple Sticks and that's what it reminds me of. Those sticks you could use for eyes or cheekbones. So that makes sense! After I wrote the post I thought, "oh yeah, it's like NARS but in compact form".
